There will be a donation to the community – the figure has not been finalised. Community organisations will have an opportunity to bid for a share of funds.  East Ayrshire Council will oversee the local voting process but all funds will be distributed within the community. A member of the public was concerned that money should go to and be under control of the Community Council as opposed to East Ayrshire Council with the figure being agreed in advance and in writing. A letter from the production company Kudos has been distributed and there is an information point at the Village Hall.
